DVC - A Hectic Odd Vein May 26, 2006

The Da Vinci Code released in India today. Our entire team bunked office and went to watch the movie. It was as good as you could translate a book of that size into a two and half hour movie.
The screenplay just struggled to keep pace with the book, Hanks exactly wasn't at his best and Audrey Tatou was too short for Hanks. Despite these pitfalls it was a good movie and didn't deserve the flak that the critics seem to enjoy giving to the movie.
If you haven't read the book, just forget about the movie - it is overloaded with information that is shoved down your throat at a hectic pace. But if you have, it is a chance to visualize the fabulous narration of Brown. So if you are bored and have green pieces of paper to spare, head out to watch DVC and keep your expectations low - you will enjoy it!
P.S: In case you didn't get it A Hectic Odd Vein is a Perfect anagram of the The Da Vinci Code.
