Java vs YourFaviouriteLanguage in multi-threaded tests to see how their application performs with more than one thread.
While many languages support course-grain parallel processing or even fine grain multi-threaded code, there seems to be any number of reasons this does not happen in real systems.
I imagine it will be a while before we see C# or Python running on 768 processor server.

Thank you for the article. I came across this notion while preparing a sermon on 1 Samuel 2:11-26. The story of Samuel could be the first ever written in this genre. His mother left him at the tabernacle at an early age to grow up in the priest's family. She hadn't technically abandoned him, because she would visit him once a year. Samuel's upright character is contrasted with the wickedness of the priest's own sons, Hophni and Phinehas (Dudley Dursley?). Samuel, like all of the characters you mentioned, was able to rise above his circumstances and achieve his destiny.

A few common SATA disks are supported - including Nvidia. Even if not - Switch to ATA emulation in your BIOS. (It might also be called IDE/legacy emulation).

If all else fails use VirtualBox - www.virtualbox.org
Or VMWare - www.vmware.com

Dude,
You have made an excellent, brief testimony for the works of John Keats, one of the poets I admire. Talking about his ideal of "Negative Capability", you should have read this:

"The heard melodies are sweet
Those unheard are sweeter"

He reflects the human tendency to stay with the uncertainity in his look out for a "sweeter melody".

That allusion to Ayn Rand was apropos - Keats is one of those who lived by the morality of self-reverence, which was theorized by Ayn Rand.
